These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of 11+ Tutor (the "Service"), operated by PassEleven Ltd (company number 17408473, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ) ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is for use by a parent or legal guardian ("you") on behalf of their child, to support the child's preparation for the 11+ and similar grammar-school entrance exams. You must be at least 18 years old and have parental or legal responsibility for any child profile you create. Children do not create their own accounts; you create and control the account, and remain responsible for your child's use of the Service under your supervision.
11+ Tutor provides AI-generated tutoring content — practice questions, explanations, and adaptive drills — across English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning, plus progress tracking for parents. Practice content is original material written for this Service, not past exam papers.
11+ Tutor is an independent preparation resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by GL Assessment, CEM, ISEB, Durham University, or any exam board, local authority, or grammar school admissions body. We do not guarantee any exam outcome, school place, or score improvement. Practice performance on this Service is not a prediction of real exam results.
Tutoring responses are generated by an AI system (currently Anthropic's Claude models) and are not reviewed by a human tutor in real time before being shown to your child. While we design and test the content, AI-generated material can occasionally be wrong, unclear, or inconsistent. Please review your child's sessions periodically and tell us if something looks off — see Section 9.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
Use the Service only for its intended purpose of exam preparation and progress tracking. Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service; don't use it to submit unlawful, abusive, or harmful content; don't resell or share your account with people outside your household without our consent.
You and your child may submit messages, answers, and other content while using the Service ("your content"). You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a licence to use it to operate and improve the Service — for example, to generate the tutoring conversation, calculate scores, and produce progress reports. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data specifically.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will always be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service, including any exam or admissions outcome. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
If something in a tutoring session looks wrong, you can flag it directly from the chat, or contact us at kitchenmargins@gmail.com.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Because you subscribe at a distance (online, without face-to-face contact), UK consumer law gives you a 14-day cooling-off period from the day you subscribe, during which you can cancel for a full refund of anything already charged, no reason needed.
Every new account already gets 3 days of free access with no payment method required, before you ever choose to subscribe — so in practice you can try the Service before this cooling-off period even begins to run. If you do subscribe and then use the Service (rather than simply waiting) during the 14-day period, you're asking us to start providing it straight away: once we've fully provided it, you lose the right to cancel for a refund of that period; if you cancel partway through, we may deduct a proportionate amount for what you've already used. Outside of this 14-day right, our normal cancellation terms (Section 4 above — cancel any time, no refund for the current billing period) apply.
